Saturated Solution Definition and Examples

A saturated solution is a chemical  solution containing the maximum concentration of a solute  dissolved in the solvent.  Ã¢â‚¬â€¹The additional solute will not dissolve in a saturated solution. The amount of solute that can be dissolved in a solvent to form a saturated solution depends on a variety of factors. The most important factors are: Temperature:  Solubility increases with temperature. For example, you can dissolve much more salt in hot water than in cold water.Pressure:  Increasing pressure can force more solute into solution. This is commonly used to dissolve gases into liquids.Chemical Composition:  The nature of the solute and solvent and the presence of other chemicals in a solution affects solubility. For example, you can dissolve much more sugar in water than salt in water. Ethanol and water are completely soluble in each other. One way supersaturation can occur is by carefully cooling a saturated solution. If there is no nucleation point for crystal formation, the excess solute may remain in solution.

Introduction Gaining experience as a future teacher helps in understanding the multiple challenges of education. By observing these challenges, one becomes better equipped and more prepared to enter the field. Learning theories, behavioral tendencies, and social development are all factors that affect a student’s success in education. In this paper I will analyze and explain the observations made inside and outside of the classroom at Clarkston High School. Clarkston High School I chose to complete my field experience at Clarkston High School, located in Clarkston, Georgia. The population at Clarkston is 63.1% Black, 29.5% Asian, 3.4% Hispanic, 3% White, 0.8% Two Races, 0.1% American Indian, and 0.1% Pacific Islander. 79.9% of students†¦show more content†¦It is not easy for any of them. Students are constantly skipping class and wandering the halls. The most obvious problem with Clarkston High School is the lack of organization. There seems to be very little control. For instance, on the last day of observation my teacher told me that another teacher had been fired because students were caught having sex in the classroom. The teacher often never locked her door, so students frequently went into her classroom without supervision. Fighting at the school occurs constantly, even with security guards on campus. It is also important to note that the fights are not always between students. Parents have fought faculty members, and stu dents have fought teachers. There was a fight in the cafeteria on one of my observation days, and each class was forced to eat lunch in the classroom. There are students associated with gangs, as my teacher once pointed to a student and said, â€Å"He’s a blood.† I asked her how she knew this and she said, â€Å"He told me.† In my time at Clarkston it was completely evident that the majority of students do not have proper guidance at home. So, the blame should not be entirely placed on the students, because they have no control over how they are raised or what they are taught. A common theme that was brought up with a fellow coach was the fact that some players hang around the wrong crowd.
